University of California-Irvine pitchers Miles Glazier (pictured, above) and Cole Spear will return to the Knights for the 2018 season, coach Brooke Knight announced Monday.

A junior left-hander from San Marino High School in San Marino, Calif., Glazier was 3-0, 1.69 in 14 appearances for the Knights in 2017. He struck out 13 in 21.1 innings, all in relief.

He was 0-0, 6.94 in 21 games for the Anteaters in 2017, with 12 strikeouts in 23.1 innings. Glazier went 2-0, 3.95 in 26 games in 2016, with 21 strikeouts in 27.1 innings.

A right-hander from Orange Lutheran HS in Orange, Calif., Spear was 3-2, 6.60 in nine games for the Knights in 2017, with 34 strikeouts in 30 innings. He was 4-6, 6.71 for the Anteaters in 2017 as a freshman.

Glazier and Spear are the seventh and eighth members of the 2017 West Coast League championship team to sign for the 2018 season. They join previous signees Jacob Fricke (Western Oregon), Kolby Somers (Oregon), Darren Nelson (Cal Poly), Connor Redmond (Cal Poly), Trevor Wells (Linn-Benton CC) and Chad Stevens (Portland).
