Monday, September 16, Corvallis, Ore. - The ten-time West Coast League champion Corvallis Knights announced…
One Step Closer to Home Promotion to Return
The Corvallis Knights kicked off their One Step Closer to Home promotion in partnership with Pape Material Handling in support of Community Outreach, Inc. this past Friday.
Corvallis Knights skipper Brooke Knight and Knights Baseball Club CEO Dan Segel made a special visit to COI to deliver Knights wear for Community Outreach’s clients and staff.
COI Executive Director Kari Whitacre (pictured with Coach Knight) and Development Director Ben Danley gave the Knights skipper a tour of the facility and shared their mission and much more.
The Knights and Pape Material Handling are thrilled to continue their One Step Closer to Home promotion that will run through the entire regular season. Every time a Knight steals a base at Goss Stadium, Knights Baseball Club will donate $10 to COI; and if the home team wins that night, they will double the contribution.
At last Friday’s meeting, the Knights shared that a generous sponsor – RR Chandler (owned and operated by Knights alum and Corvallis native Randy Chandler) had donated six reserved season tickets in the newly named Garden (Section F & G) to COI, for use by their clients and staff.
