Future Cal Poly Shortstop Brooks Lee Named WCL Player of the Week

Corvallis Knights shortstop Brooks Lee was named the West Coast League Moss Adams Player of the Week for July 1-7. Lee hit .522 with 4 doubles, a homer and 11 RBIs as Corvallis went undefeated for the week, captured a first-half title and extended its overall winning streak to 17 games.

For the summer, Lee is hitting a team-leading .434 with 8 doubles, a homer and 14 RBIs; and is playing stellar defense at shortstop and third base. He was a 35th round pick of the San Francisco Giants in the 2019 MLB Draft. His plans are to attend college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and play for his dad, Larry Lee.

This is the Knights first WCL Player or Pitcher of Week honor of the season.
