Corvallis Knights Release 2021 Summer Schedule
Corvallis, Ore., Thursday, November 19 – The four-time defending West Coast League champions and reigning Perfect Game Summer Collegiate Team of the Year is thrilled to announce its 2021 summer schedule, which features 33 home dates. The hometown team returns to OSU’s Goss Stadium at Coleman Field for five weekends June through August, including six Thursday games, six on Friday, four Saturday, two Sunday, three Monday, six Tuesday and six on Wednesday.
The Corvallis Knights open the 2021 West Coast League season on Tuesday, June 1 at Port Angeles, Washington versus the always tough Lefties. The Knights home opener is set for Friday, June 18 against the NW Star Nighthawks in a non-league matchup. The defending champs WCL home opener is Tuesday, June 22 versus longtime rival Bend. The Elks are managed by former Beaver and Knight Kyle Nobach.
Starting times for Monday-Saturday games are set for 6:35 pm; Sunday games will start at 1:05 pm. Any scheduled fireworks nights will feature later start times, to be announced.
With the release of the Knights 2021 schedule, the team’s front-office staff is now taking 50/50 fundraising reservations and booking group outings as well as starting work on its entertainment schedule and continuing to sell season ticket packages.
“This time of year, when we get our schedule, is always exciting for us.” said Bre Miller, President/GM of the Corvallis Knights. “But even more so this year, considering we missed an entire summer with our fans, players and staff.”
Goss Stadium is the place to be in the summer. The Knights are hopeful it’s a community gathering place once again in 2021, and are prepared to make Goss safe, comfortable and of course loads of fun.
The Corvallis Knights will follow all local, state and OSU health authorities guidelines and protocols. All games held at Goss Stadium are pending approval of the aforementioned authorities pursuant to existing health conditions and health safety protocols at the time of competition.
