The Knights scored 4 runs in the fourth, 2 in the 7th and 5 runs in the eighth. In the 4th, second baseman EJ Rubesh of South Albany High School collected 2 RBIs on a bases loaded fielder’s choice groundout thanks to heads up running by shortstop Zach Johnson of Linfield who scored from second on the play. Johnson walked twice and went 1-for-3 with a RBI and stolen base.
Right fielder/catcher BJ Tokushima of George Fox went 3-for-5 with a double, two stolen bases, three runs scored and a RBI. Designated hitter Dominic Tatone lined a two-run double to left and walked 3 times. Ben Lewis and third baseman Elliot Brown of Lane CC both recorded two singles.
