Brooks Hatch Blog: Rutschman, Kreuter Have Big Weeks

Alum Adley Rutschman (2016), a sophomore at Oregon State, was nominated for Pacific-12 Conference Player of the Week for Feb. 26-March 4, but was not selected.

Adley hit .455 (5-11) in a four-game sweep of Hartford, with two doubles, four runs, five RBIs and two game-winning hits.

Alum Cole Kreuter (pictured above, 2015-16) of UC Irvine was nominated for Big West Conference Player of the Week honors, but was not selected.

Cole went 5-for-12 (.417) with two doubles, a homer and four RBIs as the Anteaters went 2-2 vs. San Diego State and TCU. He doubled, homered and drove in four runs in a 15-2 win over TCU on March 4.

JAMES ANDERSON: The Western Oregon infielder, a 10-day signee, is hitting .000 (0-11) in five games, with no homers or RBIs.

AUSTIN BAEK: The George Fox catcher, a 10-day signee, is hitting .320 (16-50) in 16 games, with no homers and 11 RBIs.

BEAU BRUNDAGE: The Portland outfielder is hitting .400 (16-40) in 11 games, with a homer and six RBIs.

COLE CABRERA: The Cal Poly outfielder is hitting .211 (4-19) in nine games, with two RBIs.

COREY CONKLIN: The Eastern Kentucky infielder, a 10-day signee, is hitting .111 (1-9) in eight games, with no homers or RBIs.

BEN FARISS: The UC Santa Barbara outfielder has not played yet.

AUSTIN FEIST: The St. Martin’s outfielder is hitting .255 (12-47) in 12 games, with a homer and six RBIs.

COLE HAMILTON: The Linn-Benton catcher is hitting .222 (4-18) in five games, with two RBIs.

CAMERON HASKELL: The Arizona infielder is hitting .000 (0-4) in four games.

SEAN LITTLE: The Willamette infielder, a 10-day signee, is hitting .667 (2-3) in three games, with no homers or RBIs.

CHAD STEVENS: The Portland infielder is hitting .282 (11-39) in 11 games, with four RBIs.

ZAK TAYLOR: The Oregon State catcher/infielder is hitting .262 (11-42) in 13 games, with a homer and seven RBIs.

ZACH WELLER: The Cal State-Fullerton infielder is hitting .133 (2-15) in eight games, with two RBIs.

ELLIOT WILLY: The Oregon State outfielder is hitting .000 (0-1) in one game.
