Welcome to Corvallis

The city of Corvallis – “the Heart of the Valley” – is located in the center of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, close to the Portland and Eugene metropolitan areas, the Oregon Coast, and the Coast and Cascade mountain ranges. Corvallis has a residential population of 58,630 and is the home of Oregon State University, one of only two Land-Grant, Sea-Grant, Space-Grant and Sun-Grant universities in the United States.

The Corvallis Knights have been one of the strongest and most successful franchises in the West Coast League since its 2005 inception. The Knights have won the WCL Championship in 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The team was named the Summer Collegiate National Team of the Year by Perfect Game in 2019 and 2021.

Who Are The Knights?

The Corvallis Knights are a summer wood-bat amateur baseball team for players with remaining college eligibility.

The team competes in the West Coast League, a 16-member league established in 2005 with franchises throughout the Pacific Northwest. Franchises are located in Bend, Corvallis, Portland, and Springfield, Oregon; in Bellingham, Longview, Port Angeles, Ridgefield, Walla Walla, Wenatchee, and Yakima, Washington; in Kamloops, Kelowna, and Victoria, British Columbia, and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The Knights play at Goss Stadium on the Oregon State campus. Teams play a 54-game WCL schedule, followed by three rounds of playoffs; the season starts in late May/early June and runs through mid-August. Players stay with host families in the community.

Tickets are available by visiting the Knights’ office at 4th and Jefferson in Downtown Corvallis, by calling the office at 541-752-5656, or by purchasing online.

There are many hotels, motels, bed & breakfast locations and campgrounds to stay at while visiting Corvallis, in every price range. Visiting teams stay at the Hotel Corvallis, 350 SW 4th St, Corvallis, OR 97333, downtown Corvallis just across the street from the Corvallis Knights front office.

How to Find Goss Stadium

From I-5: Take exit 228 west to Corvallis. After crossing the Willamette River, turn left on Fifth Street, turn right on Jefferson Avenue, turn left at the stoplight on 15th Street, and turn right on Washington Way. Go west for mile. Goss Stadium will be on your right.

From U.S. Highway 99W: Turn west onto Western Avenue (left turn from the south, right turn from the north). Turn right on 15th Street, turn left on Washington Way just after the railroad track, and go west for 1/4 mile. Goss Stadium will be on your right.

From U.S. Highway 20: Turn right (from the north) or left (from the south) at the stoplight at 26th Street. Head north and turn left on Washington Way, just past the railroad tracks, and go west for 1/4 mile. Goss Stadium will be on your right.
