Corvallis qualified for the postseason for a record 18th straight year by winning the WCL South second-half title. The Knights advanced to the South championship game by edging longtime rival Bend 2 games to 1. The Elks won game one of the divisional round at Vince Genna Stadium but the resilient Knights bounced back with two elimination game victories at Goss Stadium to set-up another WCL South championship rematch with the Portland Pickles. For the first time, the WCL South title contest was held at Walker Stadium, the home of the Pickles. Corvallis fought valiantly in an epic playoff game but lost, 6-5. The Knights posted the league’s second-best regular season mark at 39-15. Total summer attendance at Goss was 51,288.

Corvallis wraps the regular season winning 14 of its last 16 games, capturing its final 5 series.

Knights post an overall mark of 27-6 at Goss Stadium.

Rising freshman outfield Brock Ketelsen of Stanford leads the WCL in stolen bases with 35 and posts OBP of .467, third best in the league.

Ketelsen earns West Coast League top prospect honors.

Corvallis tops the WCL in stolen bases with 168; Knights hit .275 as a team, good for fourth best in the league.

Two Knights earn first-team all-WCL honors, including Ketelsen and rising senior infielder Thomas Ferroggiaro of Santa Clara.

Three Corvallis prospects were named second-team all-WCL, rising sophomore southpaw pitcher Van Froling of UC Santa Barabara, rising senior pitcher Zach Johnson (Cal State Northridge commit) and rising junior lefty Zac Zawistoski (Eastern Illinois commit).

Knights post league’s second-best regular-season road record at 18-9.

Five Knights compete in the WCL All-Star Game in Bellingham, Washington, streamed on MLB.COM: outfielder Brock Ketelsen of Stanford, catcher Xavier Rios of Cal State Northridge, infielder Maddox Riske of USC, pitcher J’Shawn Unger of Nebraska and outfielder Blake Wilson of Washington.

Ketelsen earns top prospect honors at the WCL All-Star Game.

Wilson makes a second appearance in the WCL All-Star Game and tops the Knights in batting (.348. third highest in WCL), doubles (9) and hits (48) and ties for the team lead in HBP (6) and triples (3).

Knights 39 regular season wins increase their twenty-year WCL total to 693, tops in the premier summer collegiate league circuit in Western North America.
