Internships
The Corvallis Knights are offering internships that run through the end of August 2024. Interns are expected to work all Knights home events, including 30-35 regular season home games, postseason games, the Oregon All-Star Series, and Knights Day Camp, among others. In addition to events, interns are invited to partake in weekly office hours, where game and event prep is executed, as well as participate in staff meetings and community events, both pre-season and during the season. While each internship has a focus area, the Corvallis Knights are a small organization and interns are exposed to a range of disciplines, and are encouraged to try new things and take on unfamiliar roles. Purpose
The Knights internship program exposes students to the sports business world through a wide range of projects and summer assignments that require teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, enthusiasm and commitment. The program’s environment is positive and educational. It’s best suited for students looking to enhance their business acumen, garner practical experience, especially within sport, and make key contacts (networking).
Compensation
All Corvallis Knights internships are unpaid. Preferably, this internship complements the student’s academic and career goals and/or qualifies for earning academic credits. The Knights ask that all interns earn academic credit or are endorsed by a sponsor; either a professor, department head, academic advisor, or coach.

Concessions
The Corvallis Knights are hiring individuals to work seasonally in the Goss Stadium concessions outlets during the season. If you are interested in a part-time concessions position this summer, please apply below. The season will feature 30-35 home games, plus additional events. Prior food service experience is helpful, but not required. Applicants must be at least 15 years old. Contact Colleen Woods at [email protected] with any questions.
Compensation
Food & Beverage opportunities are paid, part-time employment positions. Compensation is minimum wage, hourly. Applicants must be able to attend most, if not all, home games. FLSA & Employment Status: part-time seasonal, exempt.

Additional Information
Students who are granted an in-person interview should come prepared by arriving on-time, in business attire, and with at least two copies of their resumé. It is in the student’s best interest to do research on the Knights and the West Coast League and to come prepared with relevant questions about the organization and interested roles. When applying for a position, students will be asked for three references. These references may be contacted in the event the student is under serious consideration for a position.
The Corvallis Knights are a drug-free workplace.
