Tuesday, March 3, Corvallis, Ore. – Many Knights alumni continued hot starts to their 2026 collegiate seasons. Here are five who shined last week:
Temo Becerra (2022), 3B, Texas
Becerra led Texas to four wins in four games last week and earned SEC Player of the Week honors for his efforts. Temo finished the week 6-for-12 with 3 HR and 7 RBI to go along with 8 runs scored and 2 walks. He hit two homers in a Friday night win against Coastal Carolina, last season’s national runner-up, as #3 Texas improved to 11-0.
Jackson Flora (2024), RHP, UC Santa Barbara
Flora, a mainstay on this list to start this season, continues to get stronger with each start. He threw 7 innings and struck out 10 in a dominant 7-2 win over Utah. Jackson gave up only 1 earned run to improve to 3-0 on the year and kick-start a weekend sweep for the Gauchos.
Logan Johnstone (2022), RF, Vanderbilt
Johnstone, the former Gonzaga Bulldog and Washington State Cougar and new leadoff man for the Commodores, set the table beautifully for Vanderbilt last week. Logan went 5-for-14 with 4 walks, 2 stolen bases and 3 runs scored in four games.
Josh Proctor (2025), LF, Oregon State
Proctor, a true freshman, made the most of his opportunities last week. Appearing in two games (one start), Josh went 3-for-5 with a home run and 2 RBI. He also walked twice for 18th-ranked OSU.
Maddox Riske (2025), SS, Southern Cal
Riske went off last week for the Trojans, leading USC to a four-game sweep of Cal Poly. Maddox went 9-for-19 with 6 RBI and a double, including a 5-hit game on Saturday night, to help the Trojans stay undefeated on the season.
