2017-18 Corvallis Knights Internships
Our internship program exists to expose students to the sports business world through a wide range of pre-season projects and summer assignments that require teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, enthusiasm and commitment. The program is in place to create an environment for students to improve their business acumen while gaining practical experience and networking opportunities.

We are offering internships beginning in December 2017 and continuing through the end of August 2018. In addition to weekly office hours, interns are expected to regularly participate in staff meetings and community events, both pre-season and in-season. The season includes a minimum of 32 home games, plus additional events at the stadium. While each internship has a focus area, we are a small organization and everyone wears multiple hats. Flexibility and collaboration is a key part of our program.
All internships are unpaid.
The first round of applications were accepted through November 3, 2017. However, we are continuing to accept additional applications until all roles are filled, so please do not hesitate to apply if you are still interested but missed the first deadline.

Attendance at all games and events is required for all interns and staff. Individuals should plan to have team-related commitments through the end of August. Job postings for concessions and hospitality staff will be posted in February 2017.

If you receive an interview, please come prepared by arriving on-time, in business attire and with at least 2 copies of your resume. It is in your best interest to do research on the team and the West Coast League and to come with relevant questions about the organization and the roles you applied for. When applying for a position, you will be asked for 3 references. These references may be contacted in the event that you are under serious consideration for a position.
We are a drug-free workplace. Consuming drugs or alcohol at the office or stadium, or showing up under the influence of drugs or alcohol, is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate termination. Business attire is expected in our office. Khakis, team-issued shirts and Nike shoes are expected on game days and at community events. While representing the team publicly, you are expected to maintain appropriate grooming and personal hygiene.
